Co-owned by Dominique Hébrard, once owner of Chateau Cheval Blanc, and Hubert de Bouard of Château Angelus, this 27.5 hectare property is situated on one of the highest hillsides in the St.Emilion Côtes, to the east of the town of St.Emilion. The soil is clay-limestone, the vines’ average age is 30 years and the blend is 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
All harvesting is by hand, vinification is in temperature controlled stainless-steel vats and the wines are matured in barrique for 14 months, of which 20% is new.
